This is exactly why I don’t buy Madden anymore. The duplicity of your organization is astounding. Personally I’ve been a fan of this choice given the way the game plays, but Next Gen has made me take a second look at my opinion now that I’m finally seeing 08 in action. Unless they have a opening for coffee guy. Defense is like the rushing attack, but with specific types of tackles and defensive hits. While the Finance mode lets you deeply manage the economic flow and development of your team over several years including recruiting and building a new stadium, Fantasy Challenge lets you build your own team and earn skill points. Hardly an awful thing by any stretch, but those hoping for something significant or game-changing in these versions of the game won’t get it. Most of these updates are on the defensive side of the ball. I’d love for it to have upgraded graphics, and a play book system like the 360 has Pros: It’s Madden.
Almost no one can run the next-gen version yet on their pc in a playable fashion i. So rather then bore you with the details let me say that we are still closer to the Current Gen version of the game. More realistic gameplay includes players making one-handed catches, hurdles, gang tackles, and sideline catches and mid-air collisions and choosing whether to hit high or low. Instead I will buy games like Crysis, Unreal Tournament, Bioshock, and World in Conflict that manage great next gen graphics with gameplay that blows your crappy madden game out of the water. There’s also a button that will make your controlled defender attempt to strip the ball from a carrier, provided you time the button press correctly.
